We have two training dates coming up:
Sunday, February 23 at the Stockton Sportsman Club property at 3455 McMullin Rd Manteca.
Saturday, March 22 at the Rockin' R Ranch at 23841 Avenue 25, Chowhilla
February's training day will focus on getting everyone together again and having some fun. We will be doing gunfire introductions for younger dogs or those who need it and working on concepts such as double/triple retrieves, diversion birds etc. The retrieves will not be too difficult, it,’s meant to get back in the swing of things and meet all of the people who are new to the group. (We now have 128 members. )
March's training day is being held with special thanks to Rhonna Cocchi- Dias, who owns the Rockin’ R. We will be working on land hunt test set-ups and upland as long as we can get chukar by then. In addition, Rhonna is going to open up the dock for us to use. There will be a small fee, but she’s going to let us try out dock diving. Don’t worry, it’s not addictive at all. Terry Louwerens is a Dock Diving Instructor and she will be there to help for anyone who’s new to it or has questions.
